Questions

Can students and staff use it on school Chromebooks?

Yes. Nothing is installed and no account is needed, and files are never uploaded, so it is safe for school documents. IT teams can read more on our page for IT teams.

Can I open a .pub file from Google Drive?

Yes. Choose it in the Files window, where Google Drive appears on the left. Google Drive itself can’t show .pub files.

Can I save it to Google Docs?

Save it as Word (.docx), then open that in Google Docs. Or save as PDF to keep the exact look.

Does it need the internet?

Only to load the page. Your files are then opened, changed and saved on the Chromebook itself, never on a server.
