Privacy
Last updated: 5 November 2026
The short version: your files never leave your computer, Pubwork itself uses no cookies, and we don’t know who you are.
Your files
When you open a .pub file, a list, a picture or a Pubwork file, Pubwork reads it inside your web browser. The file and everything made from it (PDFs, pictures, Word files) stay on your device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.
What is kept in your browser
To be useful, Pubwork keeps some things in your own browser’s storage: your recent documents (so you can continue where you left off), “My details”, your own templates, the dates you added to calendars, and your language. They stay on your device, and you can delete them by clearing this website’s data in your browser.
What the website receives
Like every website, the server that delivers Pubwork’s pages receives basic technical details with each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page asked for. Our hosting provider keeps these in logs for a short time to keep the service running and safe. We don’t use them to identify you.
We count visits, and a few actions in the editor (for example “a file was opened” or “a PDF was saved”), to learn what is useful. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics and Umami for this, both without cookies. Only the name of the action is sent: never your file, its name or anything in it. These counts don’t identify you.
Children
Pubwork collects no personal information, from children or anyone else.
